      Are my images uploaded anywhere?

      No. Conversion uses your browser’s built-in image codecs via the Canvas API — images never leave your device, which makes the tool safe for private photos and unreleased design work.

      Which image formats can I convert?

      Input: PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, GIF, SVG and AVIF. Output: PNG, JPG or WebP — with adjustable quality for the lossy formats and optional downscaling.

      Can I convert images in bulk?

      Yes — drop any number of images, convert them all with one click, and download them individually or all at once.

      Does converting reduce quality?

      PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP are lossy: at the default 90% quality the difference is visually negligible while files shrink dramatically. The quality slider gives you full control.

      What happens to transparency and EXIF data?

      PNG and WebP keep the alpha channel. JPG has none, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you pick — white by default. Every output is re-encoded from decoded pixels, so EXIF, GPS and other metadata are not carried over.
