Organize PDF pages

Reorder, rotate, duplicate, delete and insert pages — losslessly, with the changes written into the exported document rather than just previewed.

How it works

  1. Open the PDF. The page rail on the left lists every page with its own controls.
  2. Rearrange. Rotate, duplicate, move up or down, delete, or insert a blank page.
  3. Download. The exported file follows the rail exactly.

The rail is the plan, not a preview

Many viewers let you rotate a page on screen and then export a file that is unchanged. Here the page rail is the output specification: what you see listed is what gets written, in that order, with those rotations.

Why lossless matters

Reordering by exporting to images and rebuilding would destroy searchable text and inflate the file. Copying page objects instead keeps everything: fonts, vector drawings, embedded images at their original resolution, and any interactive form the document carries.

Scanned pages that came in sideways

Batch scanners produce this constantly. Rotate the offending pages here rather than in your viewer — a viewer rotation is not saved, so the next person to open the file sees it sideways again.

To pull pages out into their own file use Split PDF; to combine several documents use Merge PDF. Both are lossless too.

Frequently asked questions

Does reordering pages reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied at the object level, so a 300 dpi scan is still 300 dpi, text stays selectable and vector art stays vector. Nothing is re-rendered.

Can I rotate a single page?

Yes — each page card has its own rotate-left and rotate-right buttons, and the rotation is written into the exported file rather than being a viewer setting.

What happens to annotations when I move a page?

They travel with it. Page indices are remapped through the move, so a note you added stays on the page you added it to.

Can I insert a blank page?

Yes, after any page, sized to match its neighbour. Useful for double-sided printing and for leaving room for a signature page.

Can I edit the existing words or images while organizing pages?

Not with the page organizer. It reorders, rotates, duplicates, deletes and inserts pages; use the PDF editor when you need to cover or replace visible page content.
