How to convert 3MF to GLB

        1. Drop your 3MF file above. It is parsed locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
        2. GLB is already selected as the output. Optionally change units or merge all parts into a single mesh.
        3. Press Convert and download. Inspect the result first in the built-in 3D viewer if you like.

        About the formats

        3MF (3D Manufacturing Format)

3MF is the modern replacement for STL, backed by the 3MF Consortium (Microsoft, HP, Autodesk, Prusa and others). It stores watertight meshes together with units, colors, materials and print settings in one ZIP-based file, and current slicers increasingly prefer it over STL.

        GLB (binary glTF)

GLB is the single-file binary packaging of glTF, the "JPEG of 3D". One file carries geometry, materials, textures and animations, optimized for fast GPU loading. It is the standard for web 3D, AR on Android, e-commerce product viewers and real-time applications.

        Frequently asked questions

Is this 3MF to GLB converter really free?

Yes — free with no accounts, no watermarks and no file-size limits. Conversion runs on your own machine, so there are no server costs behind it.

Is my 3MF file uploaded anywhere?

No. The converter runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your .3mf file never leaves your device, which makes it safe for confidential designs.

Does the conversion preserve my model's structure?

Yes — parts and assembly hierarchy are preserved where GLB supports them, and you can optionally merge everything into a single mesh during conversion.

Can I check the GLB file before downloading?

Yes. Every converted model opens in the built-in 3D viewer with an assembly tree, display modes and section views, so you can inspect the result first.

What information is lost when converting 3MF to GLB?

3MF can describe richer materials than this neutral mesh pipeline keeps. Geometry, part structure and a flat part color can survive, but texture and multi-material detail cannot. The GLB result contains the converted geometry, hierarchy and flat colors, but it cannot recreate texture maps or animation that were dropped on import.
